A Man's Doctor Notes

My friend shared something about her Dad on Facebook and I thought it was so funny that I'd share it:

"my dad keeps an address book with detailed notes on his ipad under the notes section. I am laughing crying under his list of doctors "DR Birin: does not care about my kidney stones" "Dr Suozzi: He does not look like a doctor" "Dr Jacob: Doesn't want to be doctor. wants to be karate teacher". " Dr B: I like him, he is fat and tells me i can eat whatever i want"."

Skydiver

A skydiver describes the disappointing photo of of his adventure: “I was in Cancun and an Irish friend of mine didn’t really know how to use my camera and he only took that one. It is the only proof I had that I went skydiving.” (Photo: Chris/Reddit)

Most. Random. Thing. Ever.

My credit card had a fraudulent charge and the card has since been canceled. But I just received this person's purchase:

This cost $19.95. So glad I didn't make this purchase.

Hooray for free soap!

Holy Schnikes!

Apparently no one considered the sun when they designed this bridge:

Bridge location: St. Peter's Basilica at the Vatican

Brief update: I've finished training at BJ's Bar and Grill and am trying to figure out a balance between that restaurant and Bubba Gump's. I'm tired.

That's pretty much it.

Awer;lakjdf;ka????

Yeah ... anyone got any comments other than HUH????

Well don't worry! It's totally a hoax! TruthMinistry.com is a retarded site about how they can help you from the "dark side of homosexuality" by counseling you with "the word of the Lord". The actual billboard says "Are You Gay and Don't Want to Be?" with the Asian girl looking like she is above. So as a prank, someone photoshopped it to say what it says. At first I was like, "How do you change from being Asian??? What's wrong with Asians??? This is racism!!!! Racism, I say!!!". Then after doing some digging and finding that it was a joke, I thought it was pretty funny.

Boo to people who manipulate Christianity and are anti-gay!!!!!

Procrastination

Look at the visitor my parents got! He was hanging out in the garage.

I've named him Gizzard. So this is Gizzard, the lizard.

So I've been a bad blogger as of late. I haven't been writing in this as often as I probably should. But on the other hand, not too much has been happening that's really worthy of a post.

I got a job! Woot! I'll be working at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company at Universal Studios City Walk. Tourist spot = lots o' cash! Yay! So the financial front will soon be covered! (Thank God, finally!)

Other than that, been back to hitting the gym (4 months away from the gym = bad idea. I used to be able to lift 45 - 50 lbs. Now I can only lift 25 lbs. So sad!), memorizing Bubba Gump material, quasi-working on this play (that doesn't look like it'll be going anywhere. Timing was off, I guess...*shrugs*), running errands... Yeah... soooo exciting. But nonetheless, happy!

Randomness in a Bucket

Sometimes when a library book becomes old and starts to fall apart, the library will put tape on it to preserve its longevity. And if the person who's taping the book isn't paying attention, you'll sometimes end up with precious little gems like this:

Say what???

Today I heard my mom say for the first time ever:

"I freaked out when I found out it cost $20!"

She got "freaked out". Mom is becoming hip.

Random tidbit:
At an audition, I met another actor whose name is Hugh Mun. If you say his name really fast, it sounds like "human". His parents were geniuses!

And Start the Divorce Announcements ... NOW!

Remember yesterday I was having a moment about everyone getting engaged/married? Sadly, the divorce notices are already happening ... yeesh!

Why Some Classics Should Remain Classics

Did anyone grow up with the "Dick and Jane" children's book series? I guess they're considered classics. I suppose this should be a lesson that proves that some old classics should just remain classics and not be used for children of the new millennium. Some things just don't translate the same way 50 years later.

Everyone's Engaged!!!!!

Thanks to Facebook, I happen to know that everyone and their mother is getting engaged/married. Do I feel left out? Yes, but for all the wrong reasons! It's driving me a little crazy. (Note: This annoyance is towards all couples that I really don't give a rat's ass about, like acquaintances from high school.) But on the plus side, I get to see really cool engagement pictures (and also painfully cheesy engagement pictures which make me cringe in my seat):

Guess I know who to ask if I want a good photographer. Haha!

That's pretty much it for now. Nothing exciting is going on with me right now. Just auditioning and getting little gigs here and there. Don't get me wrong, those little things definitely signify progress, but they're hardly worth mentioning here. I might have a job interview soon though! Send good thoughts my way!!!
