Fie, I say!

Well this year is off to a great start, and I say that with great sarcasm. I was expecting my logging job at 51 Minds to resume at the end of this month. I've just been informed that the company is basically in "survival mode". People who were supposed to be promoted are not being promoted and practically everyone is being laid off left, right, and center. While technically I am still employed by the company, I probably won't be working on this upcoming show. I was told that the company would usually have a team of at least 20 loggers on a show and they are going to only hire 8 loggers for this new show. I've started applying for other hospitality jobs and I will be talking to one of my logger friends to help me apply for other logging jobs.

I am so disappointed and frustrated. I was really hoping the job would pull through. Damn the economy and damn that bastard who killed his wife and himself last year! Bleh!

Happy Belated New Year's!

Yah...Hi. I'm about a week and a half late with ringing in the New Year. As a matter of fact, I don't even feel like a new year started. I was pretty much working every day from Dec. 22nd to Jan 3rd with only two days off within that period. I was EXHAUSTED!!! I needed a few days of doing absolutely nothing to get back on track. Not to mention, having worked all night on NYE (meaning not leaving the restaurant until 5am) and then having to return to the restaurant at 5pm that evening, it made me nocturnal. For those who have heard my previous rants on being nocturnal, I HATE being nocturnal because it's so hard to get myself back to normal. So yes, it took me a few days to resurface.

... and then I just start to procrastinate on writing this entry. Heh ... sorry!

So New Year's Resolutions:
1. To book an audition that my agent/manager sends me out on.
2. To be more financially stable this year.
3. To take more pictures so that I can post them on this blog.

Update: Paul Lange has moved out to LA to try his luck as an actor out here! Woo-hoo! He is the first of my New York friends to join me in my Los Angeles world! I'm excited that he's out here.

HAPPY BELATED NEW YEAR'S!!!!
